San Felipe 250

Laurie likes to write a press lease after each race and some are longer than others but this will be a simple one. Dan started 3rd in class soon passed everyone raced hard until the BFGoodrich Tires pit at race mile 114, the amazing crew their fueled him, Shawn Chamlee got out and Todd Cravens got in. They raced hard to race mile160 where Greg Anderson and Danielle Shumway splashed a few gallons of fuel and on to the finish. Dan was able to finish the 38th annual San Felipe 250 held April 2-6 first in class 7 in 5:31, winiing his 4th San Felipe 250. When Dan tested the truck on Thursday evening he found a miss in the engine. Fortunately, Chris at Danzio Performance Engineering was able to find a problem with the pedal and even had the part to fix it. The BFGoodrich Tires had the exact tire pressure when we got to the finish line as when we left the start line, great tires. King Shocks absorbed the miles of huge pounding San Felipe whoops. The incredible strength of the Rod End Supply pivots held up to the punishment with no problem. Thank goodness we didn’t have to use the All Terrain Concepts lights since we finished in the daylight. Full Throttle Battery gave us all the power to run the electrical system including our Garmin treads.
